On May 23, 2018 at approximately 11:10 pm a deputy with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 105 at the intersection with Bluebill Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Iiesha Walters of Lake Mills, IA. A search of the vehicle was conducted and Walters was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance-marijuana 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A letter to inform the public of the intent by the Zoning Commission to recommend that the County Board of Supervisors extend the current Zoning Ordinance to apply to the unincorporated areas of all the townships in the county, versus just the three townships currently under zoning (Hartland, Brookfield, and Danville).
