Structure Fire

On 2/26/19 at approximately 19:57 hours, Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 of a structure fire at 602 9th Street North in Northwood with someone still inside. Deputies arrived on scene to find everyone was able to get out safely with the exception of 3 pets. Northwood Fire Department arrived and quickly went to work. Kensett Fire Department arrived shortly after to assist. Thanks to the fire crews, the fire was extinguished and all pets were rescued and are now safe. The extent of the damages are unknown at this time.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Northwood Fire Department, Kensett Fire Department and Alliant Energy.›
