Porter Arrest

On 04/07/2019 at 0104 hours a Worth County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on the Interstate 35 northbound on-ramp at the intersection of Highway 105 for an equipment violation. A Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputy with a narcotics K-9 were called to assist with the traffic stop. A search of the vehicle was conducted. The driver identified as Michael Allen Porter of Fairmont Minnesota was arrested. Porter was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offence-Methamphetamine (aggravated misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). All individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
