Phone Scam

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office has taken a report of a phone scam that has been occurring here locally. A subject calls claiming to be from Publisher’s Clearing House to tell you that you have won cash and prizes. All you need to do is go and get a money order made out to the IRS tax agent who is coming with the group to cover the tax on the prize. Just a reminder to be aware.
