Neely/Stevens Meth Arrest
On 12/25/2019 at approximately 1907 hours a Deputy with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Chrysler 200 on Highway 65 near the intersection of 450th St for traveling 66 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone. The driver, identified as 36 year old Alicia Neely of Iowa Falls, was found to be driving on a revoked driver’s license. Neely was taken into custody and passenger, 28 year old Hayden Stevens of Iowa Falls, chose to stay in the vehicle and wait for a ride with two juvenile passengers. At approximately 2202 hours, the same Deputy went to check to make sure Stevens and the two juveniles were picked up safely and observed them still in the same location. The Deputy approached the vehicle and observed Stevens in the driver’s seat sweating profusely with bloodshot, watery eyes and a female’s wallet on his lap. When asked what was in the wallet, Stevens proceeded to open it in front of the Deputy and the Deputy observed multiple small plastic baggies containing methamphetamine. A pipe used for smoking methamphetamine was recovered as well. Upon further investigation, it was determined Neely and Stevens had been sharing the methamphetamine. Stevens was subsequently charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (2nd Offense) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Neely was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to her Driving While Revoked charge. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
