On 11/17/17 at 5:56pm the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 call for a motor vehicle accident on I-35 north bound near the 203 mile marker. The vehicle was traveling north in the left lane and struck a deer disabling the vehicle so it was not able to move blocking the left lane. Another vehicle went into the median to avoid hitting the car in the roadway. There were no injuries. Assisting the Worth County Sheriff’s Office were Fertile and Hanlontown Fire Departments, Forest City Ambulance, and Dick’s Towing.
