March 4th Burglary

On March 4, 2018 the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a suspicious vehicle call. A Worth County Deputy located the vehicle parked on 460th St and Ironwood Ave and took off before the deputy could pull up to it. The deputy started following the vehicle and made contact with the occupants when the vehicle ran out of gas. The driver, identified as Joshua Teeter of Mason City was arrested for driving while suspended. Upon further investigation Joshua Teeter and another occupant of the vehicle, Channing Greer were both charged with 3rd degree burglary and conspiracy to commit a felony, both Class D felonies. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected to be filed. The Worth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mason City Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
