Only you can prevent wildfires! The Worth County Sheriff’s Office would like to give a friendly reminder to be cognizant of where you throw your cigarette butts. This photo was taken on 11/26 and after investigation the fire was determined to have been caused by a cigarette butt. Luane Odden, of Northwood, was cited for littering. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
