On 8/12/2017, the Worth County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a vehicle in the ditch at Spruce Avenue and 450th Street. The driver was identified as Duane Gordon. Upon further investigation Gordon was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor, and failure to maintain control, a simple misdemeanor. A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
