Embezzlement

On 1/13/2020 the Worth County Sheriff’s Office took a call from the Director of Operation for Burger King wanting to report two employees who were Embezzling money from the Burger King in the Casino and the Burger King by I-35. A Deputy interviewed both suspects in the case. Both admitted to taking money from the Burger King over a several month time frame. They were unsure of the value they had taken. Suspects are identified as Kristine Morrow and Angelina Hamilton both from Mason City. The Director of Operations gave the Deputy the Money Value of over $15,000.00 combined. Kristine is charged with 1st Degree Theft which is a C felony and Angelina is charged with 2nd Degree Theft which is a D felony.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
