On Wednesday October 24, 2018, the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding counterfeit $50 bills being passed at businesses throughout the county. The Sheriff’s Office wants people and businesses to be aware of this and to do the proper checks to verify that a bill is not fraudulent.
