Casino Overdose

On 11/22/2019 at approximately 0344 hours, the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a subject at the Diamond Jo Casino who had over-dosed. Deputies arrived on scene and observed one unconscious subject and evidence of opiate use. Deputies administered several doses of Narcan prior to EMS arrival and the subject regained consciousness and was eventually transported by ambulance. The Worth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Northwood Rescue, Mason City Ambulance, and Mercy Air Med.
