Belden Arrest

On 10/27/2018 at 0154 hours a Worth County Deputy was following a vehicle traveling west on 510th Street west of Cardinal Avenue when the vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the roadway. The Deputy stopped and spoke with the driver identified as Shalayna Dee Belden of Albert Lea Minnesota. While speaking with Belden the Deputy observed a baggy containing marijuana sticking out of her shirt pocket. A search of the vehicle was conducted. Two pipes containing marijuana and needles were found in Belden’s purse. Belden was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 2st Offense a serious misdemeanor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a simple misdemeanor. All individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
